December is a month full of Christmas parties and other events. And the local chapter MADD wants to make sure that if you attend a party, you plan a safe ride home.

"We were out at the hockey game on November 2nd." shared Connie Hagel Community Leader for MADD in Estevan. "I did a presentation for the Rotary Club."

They also participated with the Estevan Police Service with their roadside check-stops and plan to do more in the future.

"What they do, is the police clear the car, make sure there's nobody imapired and then we step up and give them a giveaway and say thank you for driving sober. We're just letting the public know that you've done a good thing. It's a very small token, it's just more of us saying thanks."
