The novel coronavirus has impacted the lives of everyone.

Whether you're a business owner, a regular everyday employee, or unemployed, in some way shape or form you are being affected by COVID-19.

This has now trickled down to all of the municipalities in the southeast region of Saskatchewan, where none of the 10 RM's that surround Estevan are going to be on regular schedules seen from years passed.

The list of RM's stuck in limbo right now includes the following:

Coalfields, Antler, Benson, Brock, Browning, Estevan, and Mount Pleasant.

The RM of Maryfield has a bridge project that is still in the decision stage and will also need to go through the tender stage as well. An update can be expected sometime in June.

Additionally, the RM's of Moose Creek and Reciprocity will have within the next six weeks.

A lot of this time is a waiting game according to one reeve. The regulations around social distancing are leaving some handcuffed at this time.

If any of these plans change, or restrictions are lessened, we will have the update right here on Discover Estevan.
