As summer continues to march its way into southeast Saskatchewan, construction crews get back at the roads after the May long weekend.

On Wednesday and Thursday, the west leg of Maple Bay is closed to through traffic due to a fire hydrant replacement.

The closure includes the sidewalk as well, so pedestrians will have to keep an eye out for signs in addition to drivers.

Motorists are asked to avoid the area until the work, which is expected to last for the day, is completed.
