It was a fairly quiet evening for the Estevan City Police last night although they had received multiple calls of a couple of Moose that were running on the north end of the City. Constable Lana Gropp shares, "Police monitored the movements as best they could with hopes they would make their way out of the City." The moose made it out of the city with no problems and the Estevan Police Service did not see them again and no further calls came in throughout the night."

The Estevan Police Service also stopped a 29 year old man from Red Deer, Alberta for speeding.

"The man was then arrested for impaired driving and driving over .08. He was processed and released with a future court date to deal with his charges."

Police also received a call of a possible impaired driver early on in the evening. Police located the vehicle and the driver was found not to be impaired.
