A couple accused of human smuggling will be back in front of an Estevan Provincial Judge Monday, December 4th.

Victor Omoruyi, the husband of Michelle Omoriyi, is back in Canada after being deported from the States. He was arrested in North Dakota on April 14th after a four month police investigation called Project FADDUCE. Omoruyi served a six month sentence after which he returned to Canada and was arrested by Canadian police in Saskatoon on November 21st. 

He was released on bail, under conditions and will join his wife in Estevan Provincial Court on December 4th. She is still facing charges of human smuggling after she was arrested the same day near North Portal with allegedly nine Nigerian citizens in her van.
