Things are slowly improving when it comes to jobs in the province.

Numbers were released from Statistics Canada the other day that reveal an decrease in unemployment in Saskatchewan as of last month.

Seasonally adjusted, the rates went from 6.6 percent in December of 2016, to 6.4 percent in January 2017.

Currently Saskatchewan has the fourth lowest unemployment rate in the country.

Things are looking up nationally as well, as the overall rate for Canada dropped from 6.9 percent to 6.8 from December to January.
