The Multi-purpose room at the Leisure Centre is complete and open.

Rod March, Parks and facilities manager for the city of Estevan explains what was done, "It was a 60 thousand dollar capital budget that was approved through city council. Sport rubber floor and three layers of Epoxy coating, so it's designed  for low impact so you can do all kinda of sports on it. It took about two weeks to get the old one out and the new one put in."

"New floor is working beautifully, there are court markings on there for basket ball, volley ball, pickle ball Badminton or any kind of fitness you wanna do there. the fitness instructors  are liking it, and it looks beautiful."

"It's the third component of the upgrades to the multi purpose room. We did all the walls and ceiling, painted, then the lighting which is all done with high efficiency LED and now finally the floor is done so its the complete package."
