More changes are coming to the Royal Height Veterans Memorial Park next summer.

"There's an accessible play structure going in place in the spring in time for next year," explained Rod March, Estevan's Parks and Facilities Manager.

"It's purchased, ready to go. We've taken out the old one this fall. The ground, the subsurface has been prepped."

Next year, they will just have to compact the ground, bring in the new structure and set it up.

"We'll do what is called a pour-in-place rubber which is fall protection. It's similar to what's at the two daycare centres here in the city. It won't be loose rubber, it won't be sand, it will be a pour-in-place rubber that should tidy it up all nicely."
