The start of November looks to have a mix of weather according to Environment Canada's Terri Lang, "It looks like it's going to be a bit of a rollercoaster week to 10 days. There's a decent looking system that's moving Friday into Saturday, definitely looks like there is some snow coming with that so people travelling Friday into Saturday should take note of that. It doesn't look like it will stay but looks like a good 5cm is possible depending on the track of this system and people should keep an eye on that."

"Towards Sunday we are going to see some rains and shower activity, highs all over the place, this time of year, 30-year averages are highs of plus five and overnight lows of minus seven. We are running a bit above average, and then it's going to go towards colder temperatures especially into the ten-day period, so people should get their mindset that yes we are in Fall, but we are heading into winter."

"There's a risk of freezing rain, but right now it's looking more like snow, and when the rain comes through towards Sunday it seems like the temperature should be above freezing by the time it comes."
