The City of Estevan asked for your feedback in the first phase of their Our Estevan initiative. They've taken that advice and will begin with Open House meetings in the Multi-Purpose Room of the Estevan Leisure Centre.

Richard Neufeld, the Land Development Manager shares what it's all about, "Our Estevan, is an initiative that will result in a new Official Community Plan to be adopted in 2019, putting in place policies and growth strategies to help make Estevan a better community. The new plan will be a guide when rewriting the new City zoning bylaw."

"We will be discussing topics that fall under land usage. Much of what will be discussed is what residents told us with the surveys that were accessed through the city. Your ideas will be present and put into a draft, and it's all raw. Nothing has been altered by city management, but we want to see what you think of the plan moving forward. And then it will be sent back to the cities management to go over and discuss."

The Open House will kick off Wednesday, March 20th at 12 pm - 4 pm, and Saturday, March 23rd at 4 pm - 8 pm.
