The Remembrance Day long weekend wrapped up Monday evening in a quiet manner for the Estevan Police Service, with only two calls to speak of.

"Police responded to an abandoned vehicle south of town. We were unable to locate the owner of it but the vehicle was towed as (it was) a hazard," stated Constable David Sinclair.

"We were also called to the bypass railway crossing to a report that the arms were down. Members were able to get in touch with CP Rail and get the arms back up."

The EPS also put out a warning on Twitter, alerting people to a new scam involving Bitcoin. Victims are told that their 'secret lives' will be revealed unless payment is received by the scammer.
