The Estevan Police Service we're out last night, and even though it was cold, it didn't deter people from breaking the laws.

Sgt. Craig Bird, "Besides being a fairly cool night out tonight, we ended up dealing with a couple of matters, fortunately, nothing too serious. Went to a couple complaints in the residential areas about noise, people were up a little later than usual and just had the music up loud. Neighbors complained so went to warn the homeowners and had them turn down the noise, so as not to disturb others. So there were a couple of those throughout the night."

Even a minor was getting into mischief, "We also performed a traffic stop, where a minor was found in possession in a vehicle with alcohol. and he subsequently received a ticket for that as well. All in all a quiet night, nothing too exciting, fortunately."

As well as earlier last night Sgt. Bird reports, "Another matter, we ended up finding someone with warrants at a traffic stop as well. That tied up an early part of our evening while trying to deal with that, and trying to get it sorted out."
