A number of complaints were received by the Estevan Police Service throughout the night shift.

"There were a number of attempted frauds, the CRA frauds being reported to us where someone's being contacted and saying that they have an arrest warrant for them in relation to unpaid taxes, and they're requesting that the individuals pay them with iTunes cards," shared Sergeant Kevin Reed.

"Of course, none of recipients have done so, but it's just a reminder to the public that those are scams. They should not be responding to people at all...just hang up on them."

Officers received another report regarding someone behind the wheel, thanks to the wonders of social media.

"We had a driving complaint last night in relation to someone seeing on Snapchat that someone was driving around with alcohol in their vehicle. But, police were unable to locate it."

Members also talked with an individual who had accidentally damaged someone's property, but couldn't find the owner, and so reported to police for assistance in locating the owner and informing them.
