Several minor matters were recorded in the books by the Estevan Police Service during the course of Wednesday night.

"Early on in the evening, we received a 911 call from a business on the east side of the city in the industrial area. Police attended there, spoke to some people and found that it just happened to be a misdial, there was no emergency," related Sergeant Tyler McMillen.

"We did receive a driving complaint, (of a vehicle) coming in to Estevan on the highway. The vehicle was traveling in the wrong lane, no plates and a bit of a description was given but we were unable to locate it, and no other calls came in about it."

Officers also made a well being check on a female that had called in. She was in good health, just looking for a ride to Regina, so police gave her suggestions on how to accomplish that.

"Then, we intercepted a suspended driver in the early morning hours outside of the city. She was charged for driving while suspended and dropped off at her residence," added McMillen.
