The Estevan Police Service have made a couple more drug related arrests this week, as well as covering some warrants for neighboring Police services.

"Wednesday night around 10:00 PM, a 25 year old male was located, he and a female had been in an argument on 4th Street near 16th Avenue. Upon members speaking with the male, he was found to be in possession of about 4 grams of marijuana. He was arrested and charged, and released with a promise to appear in court in October," related Sergeant Evan Handley.

Later that evening, they arrested another individual with marijuana, a 26 year old from Weyburn who also had outstanding warrants with the Weyburn Police Service."

On the night shift of the 21st, officers responded to a 911 complaint just after midnight, investigating a report of someone uttering threats with a weapon. They called in K9 Max to assist with a search of the residence, and as a result, a 27 year old Estevan male was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of methamphetamine, trafficking a controlled substance and breach of an undertaking.

He remains in custody and appears in Estevan Provincial Court later this week.

That night, members also arrested a 48 year old male after an early morning traffic stop. He was on a court ordered curfew, and was breaking it. He was then released the next day for court on October 1st.
