The Estevan Police Service spent their time responding to complaints from local citizens throughout the nightshift on Thursday.

"Close to the start of the shift, members responded to a complaint of an erratic driver on the east end of the city. The vehicle was located and warned," related Sergeant Evan Handley, "Members responded to a complaint of a suspicious person in the Willow Park Greens area. We were unable to locate the people, but we've spoken to the person that made the complaint."

Officers also conducted walkthroughs of local establishments, and were pleased to not have to encounter any impaired drivers.

However, last night was tame compared to Wednesday's night shift.

"Around 4:55 AM members responded to a complaint in the McDonald road area. As a result of that, a 34 years old male from British Columbia is facing charges. They include Operating a Motor Vehicle while Impaired by a Drug, Operating a Motor Vehicle in a Manner that is Dangerous to the Public, Operating a Motor Vehicle while being Pursued by Police in Order to Evade Police, Operating a Motor Vehicle while Disqualified by doing so, Resisting Arrest, Possession of Stolen Property over $5,000 and Failing to Comply with a Probation Order," shared Handley.

A 33 year old female from Moose Jaw was also arrested as a result of the investigation, and she was charged with Possession of Stolen Property over $5,000 and Failing to Comply with a Probation Order.

Both suspects have been remanded in court, and appear again on Monday in Estevan.

Officers also attended to a male walking around in the industrial area that night. He was on conditions, arrested, and appeared in court.
