Estevan pulled off yet another great event full of food and fun, as the Rotary Club's Lobsterfest fundraiser took place in the Energy City.

The Estevan Police Service, for their part, were quite pleased to discover that residents used wisdom when attending the event, as many vehicles 'slept over' while people found a safe ride home.

"We've seen this a couple of times. Maybe, just maybe, we're getting the message out," said Police Chief Paul Ladouceur.

"Kudos to the community, because it's certainly being responsible. We're small enough that we could lead this province in being the ones with the least impaired driving. That is certainly the goal from the policing standpoint."

"When we see that many vehicles spending the night, that's a good indicator," he added.

"Thanks for keeping people safe and doing the right thing."
