It may have been a night for ghouls and goblins but they were all well behaved, at least according to the Estevan Police Service.

"We had quite an impressive night last night," shared Deputy Police Chief, Murray Cowan. "We had absolutely no complaints of any damage or mischief or anything in relation to the evening."

"There was just a couple of calls in relation to suspicious vehicles or persons but they just turned out to be trick or treaters. So we were quite happy to see that."

He added there was a lot of increased pedestrian traffic and he was impressed with all the costumes and all the kids.

The Police Service also conducted a high visibility check-stop throughout the night in various sports around Estevan.

"Several members took part in that event and we're proud to report that no impaired drivers were arrested last night. However, there were a couple minor possession charges for marijuana and one breach charge for someone who was on conditions."

"Other than that it was a fairly quiet evening."
