The Estevan Motor Speedway is releasing its tentative schedule for the upcoming 2019 racing year.

Byron Fichter with the Estevan Motor Speedway. "Usually by this time we like to have something kinda finalized but we're working pretty hard on bringing in a couple bigger events, sometimes those deals take time to put into place, so a little patience is needed, that being said I'm pretty happy with our 20th season."

Byron went on to say that they are planning on bringing up a bunch of new events this year.

"We have been kinda teasing with the Rafferty Rumble event, that we are going to be hosting a non-racing event that weekend. Some people will remember the Eve of Destruction we use to have, that's the event were targeting that weekend we don't have an exact time yet we are still working out some of the details, that's going to be huge for us."

The schedule is not set in stone yet, they are waiting on a couple touring series to get back to them on dates that work for everyone.

Byron Fichter "some of these people you have to schedule when they are in the area or find a time that works for them so we can get the best car counts possible. Hopefully, we will have that stuff locked down within a week or so but sometimes these things take time but its kinda how it goes."

The current schedule is posted on their Facebook page with a finalized schedule to be posted to their website within the week.

The first race of the year is the taking place Saturday, May 4th, 2019
