Donations continue to roll in from southeast Saskatchewan in support of the 2018 Radiothon For Life with CJ1150 and Sun 102.

Many folks have opted to bring their contribution in person, and hand it in face to face. Among them is Doreene...

"I was in the hospital here, and had hip surgery in Regina and was sent back here. It's just something I do every year," she said of her donation.

"I'm bringing these funds on behalf of my late uncle," shared Julie-Ann Wallewein, "He spent some time here at the later stages of his life, and we appreciated all the care and help that he received. I just wanted to give a donation in his memory."

Marcelle just wanted to give simply to support the purpose of the hospital.

"It's going to keep us healthy and safe, and keep us well," she said, adding that she experienced the caring nature of staff when she had her arm set.

"It just never ceases to amaze me, the generosity of our community. They step forward every time we need them to. This is a critical day for St. Joseph's Hospital in terms of getting our professionals the equipment and tools they need," stated Hospital Executive Director Greg Hoffart.

At last count, the total had passed the $20,000 mark. There's still plenty of time to make your donation, and you can do so by stopping by in person, calling the pledge line at (306) 687 0310 or head over to sjhf.org
