As is always the case during this time of year after a large rain, large puddles are apt to form on the roads. The Estevan Police Service are advising drivers to watch their speed in these conditions.

"Just make sure you slow down," shared Sgt. Evan Handley with the Estevan Police Service, "especially in the downtown area. If you're driving too fast you can flood the businesses downtown."

"If you're going too fast on any road, it will take you a lot longer to stop."

"Slow down and drive to the road conditions and realize that if it's raining, you don't have good visibility and there might be people on their bikes or walking so please be careful."
