Estevan received a total of 18.3mm of rain yesterday. Terri Lang with Environment Canada, "that's a good rain, it hasn't rained for a while in Estevan. There's actually been 32.7mm of rain for this month so far, it's making up for some of the lost precipitation over the summer."

Although the rain was needed for the city it put a hold on producers trying to harvest and they are not the happiest with the rain.

"I think most of the crops in the south are pretty much off the field. It's the northern grain belt that's having some concerns because of heavy snow, so there are a lot of problems."
