The RCMP have confirmed that the remains found earlier this week are those of Ruby Barnes, the woman who vanished from the Carlyle area on June 18th, 2018. 

They have released the following statement:

"The Saskatchewan Coroner's Service has completed an autopsy on the human remains located in a forested area near Bangor Sask. on October 22nd.

The autopsy confirmed via dental records, that the remains are those of Ruby Barnes who was reported missing from the Carlyle area in June.

The family has been notified. At this time, no foul play is suspected and the death is considered non-suspicious."
