It's always good to remember that kindness is a gift from the heart that can be shown in small acts or gestures. A member of the Carlyle RCMP recently received a lot of praise on social media for a small act of kindness.

"One of our members, Constable Dani Zaya, just happened to be driving through Arcola, saw an individual shovelling snow, an elderly lady and so he took the opportunity to stop and give her a hand," shared Staff Sergeant Darren Simons. "Another member helped tow someone out of their driveway, just with all the extra snow their two-wheel drive truck couldn't make it out."

"Everyone seems to forget we are human beings, we all have mothers, grandparents, fathers and siblings. Sometimes we see someone who needs help and we just stop to help and it makes us feel good, we've accomplished something and then carry with our duties. We don't do it for any recognition, we just do it because it's the right thing to do at the right time."
