After its first winter season, the outdoor rink at Estevan's Kin-Park is now looking forward to another summer. And it will look a little different this year.

"At the Kin-Park rink, we are currently putting up the sponsorship rink board signs," explained Preston Majeran with the Estevan Kinsmen. "All the sponsors that we had, we gave them some rink board signs and we're putting them up this week."

"We went and got special vinyl so that it will hold up to the cold weather a lot better."

As well, there will be two special boards put up.

"In honour of the Humboldt tragedy, the Estevan Kinsmen and Kinette Club along with a donor, has decided to put up two Humboldt Strong rink board signs."

Majeran adds that the rink has seen a lot of use in its short time.

"The rink has been very busy. We are currently getting it cleaned up for summertime use. And shortly, once we get approval from the City, we'll be putting up the basketball nets."

"I would like to thank all the donors for their sponsorship and if there's anyone else out there who is interested in a rink board sign, please contact any Kinsmen or Kinette."
