Progress is being made when it comes to construction on the streets of the City of Estevan.

According to EMO Coordinator Helen Fornwald, the work at the intersection of Bannatyne Avenue and King Street has been completed.

The project commenced on Monday, servicing some underground utilities.

Now that it's finished, crews are moving on to another part of the city, namely, the 500 block of 2nd Street.

That area, including the north sidewalk will be closed for the day on Thursday.
