The Salvation Army in Estevan has been busy fulfilling kids' dreams of going to camp.

"It's our camp season, where we send kids to camp. We have sent twelve kids and 2 mothers to camp this summer so numbers are a little low this year and that's okay, but hopefully next year we'll have a bigger crowd going,” explained Ronza Reynard, the Administrative Assistant and Family Services Coordinator.

“The camp is right through the Salvation Army, they have a camp up in Saskatoon called Beaver Lake and next year they will be celebrating their 70th year so that will be good."

"Parents apply to send their kids to camp and we drive them there and back every week. There is a lot of trips there and back, they are long days but the children's lives change when they go to camp, so it's a wonderful experience for them."
