For the past 10 months, Kevin Dunn has been on an adventure in his home province. He is the 2018 Saskatchewanderer, a job where he travels the province, taking a look at the sights and events which make it unique, and documenting the journey the entire way.

“It’s just been an unbelievable experience,” Dunn said when trying to describe the adventures he has had while covering more than 31,000 kilometres within the four borders of the province. “It’s so hard to cover everything that you’ve done in an entire year, but looking back, the memories are going to be everlasting.”

The job, dubbed the greatest job in the province by many, has seen some new concepts introduced by Dunn. One of which is using a drone to capture video and photos of the province.

“Kind of like a new perspective that I wanted to introduce this year, you know, bring it into the picture, and I mean, it really took the program to all-time new heights,” Dunn said.

With the year winding down, there are still some things which Dunn will be looking to take in, hoping to cross them off his personal bucket list.

“I mean, I was able to do that lots this year, of course, but because the year is winding down, you want to be able to  showcase some of the stuff you were kind of like setting out to do.”

With the year winding down for Dunn, the application process is now open for the 2019 Saskatchewanderer. Those who are interested can apply online. The deadline to get applications in is November 9th.
