The severe thunderstorm warning for the area has ended.
At 5:05 p.m. CST, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing very strong wind gusts, up to nickel size hail and heavy rain.
The warning is for Estevan, Weyburn, Radville, R.M. of Cambria including Torquay and Outram, and R.M. of Estevan including Estevan and Hitchcock.
"This severe thunderstorm is located just to the southwest of Estevan and is moving northeast at 35 km/hr."
"Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Large hail can damage property and cause injury. Strong wind gusts can toss loose objects, damage weak buildings, break branches off trees and overturn large vehicles."
