According to Environment Canada, there is a severe thunderstorm watch in effect for the areas in and around Estevan, Weyburn, Radville and Milestone.

"Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain."

"A cold front will push eastward across southern Saskatchewan this afternoon and set off thunderstorms, some of which could become severe. Thunderstorms will weaken as they approach the Manitoba border late this evening."

"Remember, severe thunderstorms can produce tornadoes."

"Severe thunderstorm watches are issued when atmospheric conditions are favourable for the development of thunderstorms that could produce one or more of the following: large hail, damaging winds, torrential rainfall."
