Many areas of southern Saskatchewan are not only under the heat warning right now but are also under an air quality advisory.

Smoke from forest fires in Albert and BC are being drawn into Saskatchewan, causing poor air quality. While most will not be impacted by the smoke but people with lung diseases, such as asthma can be particularly sensitive to air pollution.

Some areas of the southeast could see the smoke last later in the week.
