Natalie Hasell with Environment Canada predicts some cooler weather and snow coming our way.

"Saturday's forecast is calling for a high of minus 3, then, of course, the reason for that is a system coming through. The snow associated with that system is in your forecast for Saturday night and into Sunday early morning. And then the cool front goes by and you can really see that in the temperature change as we get back to near normal temperature and then cooler than normal temperatures Sunday going into Monday."

Hasell adds that if the wind picks up over the weekend we could have uncomfortable temperatures heading our way Sunday night and into New Year's Eve. Warning us to be prepared with emergency kits in our vehicles. It is Saskatchewan after-all and so if you need the long-term forecast it is harder to determine Hasell adds, "Expect a lot of variabilities as you normally would, but after this month it should get back to near normal temperatures."
