With many families taking to the many slopes with crazy carpets and toboggans this weekend, it's nice to know that there is another activity to keep the kids occupied this winter.

Rebecca Westling with the City of Estevan, shares some popular places. "Pleasant Dale Valley, which is by the Regional Nursing Home, has lot's of great spots to choose from that you don't have to spend a bunch of time climbing back up".

"The hills by Bay Meadows and the Shell gas station are also popular with families as well as the hills by the comp", explains Rebecca.

One popular destination in Estevan is the big hill off of First Street that overlooks the ball diamonds. "The hill is nice and long and not to steep for younger kids. Also a few ramps were made by some of the children".

So with this area of Saskatchewan being as flat as it is, having these hills in the area sure are nice this time of year.
