While Monday morning's snowfall may prompt thoughts of shoveling, preparing the car for winter and other odds and ends, it means somethings else completely for farmers in the southeast, some of whom don't even have all the crop in the bin.

"We're down to 106 acres left, so we're just about done," stated Glen Ewen area producer Kent Reischke, "We're not sure how we're going to deal with it yet."

"We either have to take it now when it freezes, or it dries up, depending on what the weather does. I think the oats are probably going to end up being feed for the livestock."

"It was just about dried twice here. It's all swathed and everything, it just takes longer for the swath to dry out," he added.
