The 5th annual Energy City Ice Fishing tourney took place over the weekend. The cold weather kept most people away, however, they did have a turnout of about 20 fishermen. While a few men and women did brave the cold it seemed like nobody told the fish, there was a grand total of Zero caught over the day, Even though no fish were caught, according to Clint White who was one of the organizers. They still had a great time.

"Despite the cold weather, we had a decent turnout. No fish were caught but I think everyone had a good time and then we went to the flats to hand out prizes. Since no one caught any fish we took the first prize of 200 dollars based on how many participants we had and we just did a raffle."

Even though no fish were caught they are looking forward to holding the tournament next year. Clint white also said they couldn't have done it without a little help.

"We would like to thank F&L Concrete for plowing the road and T&T Oil services for plowing the Ice. The wind Friday night plugged the road going down to the boat lunch pretty solid, but they got that cleared and that was all pretty appreciated."
