After a dry start to the spring season, residents in the Southeast have seen a much needed rainfall over the last day or so just in time for the end of spring next week. Those involved in the farming industry can now breathe a little, as their seeded fields will now soak up the moisture that has doused farmland over the last 24 hours.

"As of Wednesday morning, Estevan had received 15 mm of rain at the station located at the airport," stated Environment Canada's John Paul Cragg. "An additional 5-10mm are expected before things start to clear up. The low will start to move further North, and rain is expected to taper off over the course of Thursday and Friday."
