Mother Nature decided to hit us one more time with a severe thunderstorm rolling through the southeast.

"We have a line of thunderstorms that are moving through Saskatchewan," explained Heather Pimiskern at Environment Canada. "As of right now, they are affecting Estevan and regions surrounding Estevan."

"With these thunderstorms, we are expecting torrential downpours, possibly some accumulating precipitation. We'll also likely experience nickel to ping-pong size hail, frequent lightning, and strong gusts."

She expects the storm to last until around 10:30 pm tonight.

"And then after that, you should be in the clear."

She added that the risk of a tornado that we had this afternoon has diminished but she strong winds and hail are still a concern. And she did have some good news for the area for the rest of the week.

"The weather over the next couple days looks to be fairly benign. The forecast for tomorrow in Estevan is a mix of sun and cloud. The wind might be a little stronger, winds at 30 km/hr gusting to 50. The temperatures should be around 26."
