It was Miracle Treat Day across Canada and once again, the people of Estevan and the surrounding areas stepped up in a big way raising money for the Jim Pattison Children's Hospital currently under construction in Saskatoon.

"We raised in total with blizzards and donations, $17,003," shared Louise Vandenhurk, co-owner at Estevan's Dairy Queen. "The total contributions from the blizzards themselves $8,003 and the rest were donations."

"We're pleased to say that the community of Estevan, as usual, supported us. We thank them very much, the City of Estevan and all the surrounding areas for once again supporting our Miracle Treat Day."

"It's an amazing community and we are proud to have our Dairy Queen in Estevan."

Payton Sernuck, one of the ambassadors for the Jim Pattison Children's Hospital was unable to make it but she wrote a letter which was shared and talked with the owners throughout the day.

"We talked to Payton yesterday, she was pretty excited. She kept tabs with us during the day. It was a good day overall."
