"We are very pleased to host our 80th-anniversary celebration of St. Joseph's Hospital today. It’s been 80 years since the Sisters of St. Joseph moved to Estevan and built the first hospital in Estevan," shared Greg Hoffort, Executive Director For St. Joseph's Hospital.


To kick off the celebration they are hosting a pancake breakfast starting at 6 am. They will then have mass in the hospital chapel from 10 am till 11 am. They will have come and go tea with the Ladies Auxiliary as well as tours of the hospital for the public from 2 pm- 4 pm.

"We have a couple of nice wall monuments to unveil at about 3 pm, one to recognize the sisters of St. Joseph for their enormous part in our history, they not only built one but two hospitals in their 80 years. We also have another monument to recognize the Ladies Auxiliary, who is also turning 80 with us, they've been supporting us greatly for the entire 80 years."

They will also be unveiling their display of memorabilias that the hospital has been collecting since it opened.
