The St. Joseph's Hospital Foundation held their annual color run this Saturday.

"The turn out was great, we have about 130 people registered for the color run, which is fantastic. We've raised a whole pile of money for a great cause so it's just been an awesome day," stated the Executive Director of the Hospital Foundation, Travis Frank.

"Everything will be going towards the general fund for the hospital foundation. Every year we try to raise as much money for the general fund as we can so we can serve the needs of the hospital, whatever they come at us with. There's always lots of little purchases for different medical equipment that they need, we like to be able to get as much of that as we can."

Travis explained that the funds raised were definitely well over in the neighborhood of $15,000.

"This is one of our most fun events, it's definitely not our biggest profit maker but it's our most fun event for sure. It's a great education piece on the hospital, great PR for everybody. We're just so happy to do it and I hope that we get to keep doing it next year, to continue to inspire and give everybody a good time."

"This is a great fundraiser for our hospital. We're always raising money for our hospital, if you didn't get a chance to come and do the color run but you still care to give to the hospital, fee free. You can donate on our website at SJHF.org, you can come down to our office and donate any time. It's always going to a good cause at the hospital foundation."
