Over the summer the Estevan Art Gallery held 3 full week-long camps at their gallery. The camps were for children ages 7-12 and ran all day.

The camps included tons of fun activities and different themes to keep the children busy. Including outside playtime, a movie, and of course getting the kids' creative juices flowing and making some great art.

Karly Garnier explains why she believes these camps are so important. "In the summer kids need to be engaged, they need to be kept busy, they still need to be fueling their minds and their intellect and their creativity. Its just something fun to do in the summer to keep the kids engaged."

With summer ending the Art Gallery is starting up their family art program yet again in September. The program will run every Thursday and Friday morning from 10:00 am - 10:30 am and is geared towards children 18 months and up but the entire are welcome to attend as well. Each day is a different craft. For the Friday morning classes, they will be focusing on moving through the alphabet letter by letter and learning about them.
