Sunday was a tail waggin' good time for around 24 canines and around 80 human participants, as the Estevan Humane Society took over the Rotary Park for their 7th Annual Dr. Howard Memorial Dog Jog.

It raises funds for the Society's facilities and work, as well as giving a chance for families and their pets to enjoy the sunshine and have some fun. It's worthwhile to note that 'pet', in this instance, refers specifically to dogs. No felines seemed to be in attendance.

Lori Ladouceur brought Cuddles and Todd to the Dog Jog.

They raised $3,300.

"It went very, very well," stated Sherry Lukye-Horrocks with the Society. We had lots of compliments and everyone that came enjoyed themselves. The BBQ went over very well, the agility course went over very, very well, so everything we've done this year we're going to definitely bring back again next year."

Among the other activities was a bouncy house and cakewalk for the kids, a beauty and behaviour judging contest for the dogs, and a photo booth for the owners and their canines.
