The City of Estevan is finishing up their Street painting project soon.

"Actually our line painting program and our street painting program is just winding down this week, our second application of line painting went down last week. We're just touching up cross walks, some pedestrian walks and making sure that all the lines are in place for winter months," explained Norm Mack the Roads and Drainage Manager for the City of Estevan.

Although the street painting program is coming to an end, there are still a few work zones in place.

"Our work zones are signed and piloned off, so just make sure that when you come to a work zone that you're going 30 km/hr as we ask."

"You will see us wrap up the program the first week of September and from then on there will be no delays with painting line marks. None of our work that we've done throughout the summer has required any road closures, it's just been a few little detours and work zones marked off. As far as now there will be no road closures."
