The Estevan Comprehensive School sees hundreds of students come and go through its doors every day throughout the school year. With continuous use, the school has been upgrading its facility.

This year they made some upgrades to the cafeteria Principal Pat Jeannot explains, "Mr. Hackis in charge of our cafeteria and he has done some wonderful things with the look of our cafeteria. He's given it a much more modern look to it, the kids seem to be attracted to that new modern look. Business has picked up a little bit in the cafeteria, he's revamped our menu a little bit, we still need to keep our costs affordable for all of our families. We've done that, and Mr. Hack has made the kitchen more efficient, more attractive and I think that's really helped with the success of the cafeteria. That's really benefiting the students."

The school also has a majority of community events run out of the school as well, so the Division was made aware that a wheelchair ramp was needed. Jeannot adds, "In the back, we've got our wheelchair ramp up and going, we're pleased to have that especially with all of the community activities we have in our building. That's been something very nice to have in place."

"Currently we are working on the roof project we started redoing it and they are on the TechEd side, we started on the west side of the building and moving along to the east side of the building." Principal Jeannot goes on to state, "Lot's going on to upgrade the facility itself, it's looking brighter and fresher. We appreciate the money School division has given us for these projects and keeping us up and going. We appreciate these renovations so much."
