Temperatures are expected to drop tonight leaving many in the southeast reaching to turn up their thermostats. 

"Of course everyone's firing up their furnaces and secondary heating appliances," shared Fire Chief, Dale Feser. "So we want to make sure people are taking the opportunity if they haven't done so, to take a look and get those vents cleared for gas-fired appliances."

"Make sure your carbon monoxide detection equipment, as well as your smoke alarms, have fresh batteries."
