SHERRI TESSIER:

It has been a tough two years for a mother of five and her family who make their home in southeast Saskatchewan.

Sheri Vincent, is a wife and mother of five from Glen Ewen who has been diagnosed with Stage 3 Neuro-Lyme Disease with Bartonella co-infection. Sheri is in constant severe pain and her situation with this life-threatening disease is truly desperate.

"It was mis-diagnosed, or not diagnosed however you what to look at it, for two years," expressed Sheri's cousin from Estevan, Sherri Tessier. "Unfortunately because it was missed, it has progressed to the point where it's become quite severe."

"If she had been diagnosed right from the get-go, after a few weeks of antibiotics she likely would have been fine."

Tessier is helping her cousin raise awareness of the disease, as well as raise funds for Sheri's family as the past several months have put quite a financial strain on Sheri and her husband, Guy.

Sheri is scheduled for another major round of treatments in August 2017 at Klinik St. Georg in Germany. In the meantime, Sheri’s monthly medication & supply costs are approximately $4,000.

"Including the upcoming treatment in August, they will have spent about $125,000," adds Tessier. "That's all their money. That's pension funds, credit lines, donations that have already come in, and so on."

"The upcoming treatment in August alone comes to about $40,000."

If you would like to support Sheri, Guy and their five children during this difficult time, there are many ways to do so.
