A tip-off may lead to theft and possession charges for two Stoughton men.

On Thursday morning, Fillmore RCMP received a complaint of theft of a large quantity of copper wire from a business in Stoughton. Later in the day, they received a second call stating that large rolls of copper wire had been located at a rural property near the town.

During RCMP members investigation of the property, two males returned to the scene. They were taken into custody and subsequently charged with the theft.

Further search revealed a substance believed to be crystal meth.

The two men will appear in Estevan Provincial Court on Monday.
