The next generation in industry is on the minds of people gathered at the Southeast College, as the bi-annual CNATCA (Central North American Trade Corridor Association) Technology, Trade and Transportation Conference gets underway.

"I think it'll be a great learning experience. A lot of the speakers will be talking about advances in technology, artificial intelligence, that type of thing," shared Estevan's Mayor Roy Ludwig, who's on the board and provided some opening remarks.

"I think we can all learn from that. Some of these emerging technologies that we're facing, I think it's very important for us to get the necessary education on these topics as we move forward."

The event lasts until 3 in the afternoon.
