It's that time of year again - time to get your flu shot.

"We've started flu shots," shared Cheryl Harrison, Director of Patient Services at the St Joseph's Hospital. "It's flu shot season and we've had two confirmed influenza cases in the former sun country health region."

"In the last two weeks, we've had all our long-term care residents immunized and we have now over 30% of our staff immunized."

Flu shot clinics began on Monday and will continue. Click here for a list of where and when the flu clinics will be held.

"All our community pharmacists also offer flu shots so you can go in and get your flu shot there."

"It's very important and it seems to be hitting early this year."
