Two significant drug busts in southeast Saskatchewan were featured in Weyburn Provincial Court Tuesday.

Nancy Williamson appeared in court via video from custody facing drug trafficking charges after a four-month investigation led to her arrest in Arcola recently. She was found with 130 grams of methamphetamine and 60 grams of cocaine.

Forty-three-year-old Williamson was remanded in custody until her next court appearance on August 28.

Derek Tide of Estevan was also in court for trafficking crystal meth and cocaine. The 33-year-old was arrested just last week with 30 grams of methamphetamine.

The Crown was opposed to Tide's release as well and he will be remanded in custody until Thursday in Estevan Provincial Court for a bail hearing.
